I have had family connections with Perry since 1981 and moved here to run the village shop and Post Office with my wife Wendy in February 2003.  I joined the Council in November 2009 and was elected Chairman in 2015.  As Chairman I have a duty to ensure the Council meetings run smoothly, that all business is correctly considered and that all attending Councillors and members of the Public who wish to speak can do so.

I have lived in Perry for 25 years with my wife Liz and we have two children who were born and bought up in the village. I feel blessed to live in a village with so many local amenities and could not imagine living anywhere else. I joined the Parish Council in May 2007 and became Vice Chairmen in 2015. I believe our role as Parish Councillors is to help improve and do the best we can for the village and its residents.

Additionally I am one of the Churchwardens at St Andrew’s Church Great Staughton and took office in 2003 and am also a trustee of the Great Staughton Parish Charities which includes Perry providing grants for educational purposes for young people under the age of 20.

Myself and my wife became Parish Councillors in May 2015, and have been village residents for 6 years.  My goals on the Parish Council are to help move forward the community spirit, maintain and improve the local amenities and landscape, and help with future village events.  I love the local surroundings including the cycleway, wildlife around the village, and mostly the wonderful villagers we have met.

Perry is a lovely, happy place and, as a result my family and I love living here. I have been involved with organising  the defibrillator which the parish council bought,  this is sited at the  Wheatsheaf  pub. There are many super facilities we appreciate and benefit from using them on a regular basis. I am happy to hear from residents to help with village matters.

I moved to Perry 18 months ago with my fiancé and was pleased to be welcomed into village life after having lived in a fairly large town where I worked as a Project & Programme Management Consultant. Perry is a lovely village set in a fantastic location and I would like to do what I can to contribute to the neighbourhood. I have already volunteered to help with the re-establishment of our Neighbourhood Watch scheme and I am involved in running the monthly village Working Party – please come along, it would be great to meet you!

I have lived in Perry for over two years and very locally for ten years before that.  I think Perry is a beautiful village with a lovely community spirit, lots to offer and a great place in which to live. I have joined the Council in the hope that I can help maintain Perry’s lovely village ethos and keep it the peaceful, friendly place that it is.  Having retired in December of last year I now help at Riding for the Disabled two mornings a week.  I am on the Committee for Perry W.I.

I have lived in Perry for nine years and been a Councillor for 4.5 years.  I like to be able to help with any issues that arise within the village.  I work part time as a DJ for a local dance company which I find extremely enjoyable and I am also a member of the Perry WI. I really love living in this lovely village and find it peaceful and tranquil, and hope to stay here for many years.
