HMP Littlehey
Earlier this month Perry Parish Council wrote to the governor of HMP Littlehey to ask for clarification regarding the recent activity in and around Crow Spinney Lane. The following reply was received on 16th October.
Thank you for your letter regarding work at HMP Littlehey. I can confirm that the new build unit which resulted in a large amount of activity on and around Crow Spinney Lane has been completed.
One of our house blocks was condemned 3 years ago and subsequently removed and a new 60 bed unit has been installed in its place. We also have a heating and hot water project that is due to end soon. This has been ongoing for the past 2 years.
There is no further planned work due to take place at this time.
